gsp silva would be a joke right now it would be like sherk v gsp total own-age. plus gsp has to go threw all of the top contenders in his own division. not gsp’s fault the ufc doesn’t have any outstanding middle weights

yes but in defense of gsp vs silva
gsp doesnt have to stand at all if he doesnt want to
and he can handle himself nicely on the ground serra isnt much but he is a BBJ blackbelt under renzo though so yes standing gsp would lose on the ground i think he’d have it

Silva vs Gsp is not gonna happen, Silva is way to skinny to cut weight, and if Gsp was to gain weight to match Silva´s… well he would loose a lot of speed.
A superfight could take place but Gsp would probably end up loosing. Even though he has really improved his wrestling game, his striking is no where near the level of Silva´s.

I think after another fight or two Nate Marquardt will be deserving of another title shot. He’s a tough guy, and showed it when he handled Jeremy Horn.

Silva has pretty much cleaned out the Middleweight division of the UFC. Franklin x2, Marquardt, Lutter, Henderson… I expect to see more Light Heavyweights dropping down for a shot at Silva in 2008-2009. Wanderlei vs Anderson could be a ridiculous war.

Knowing the UFC though, here’s what I think is next. They give Mike Bisping (what should be) a relatively easy fight in Chris Leben at UFC 85, then give Bisping the title shot against Anderson. Just a guess.
