Sonnen really did relentlessly thump Silva’s ass bad before he effed up. Silva must be tough,….or lucky. I hope Sonnen wins.

im hoping for a similar outcome next fight. i dont care which fighter wins, but i would love to see a war. that fight is so fun to watch.

You can see Silva defending his ribs by creating openings to the head. Very strange, but, it makes sense when you hear about his rib injury.

2:12 or so is when he lost. it’s like he fell into a trance, started worrying about getting hit and forgot his arm had been being held for so long. That kind of pace can make you high as fuk.

The dudes … or i should say kids who think fighters are gods are the ones that dont know s***. Any man can be beat … I don’t care who it is and Silva has shown on 3 occasions that he’s vulnerable if you can take him down. Travis Lutter of all people had Silva in full mount and was delivering some serious ground and pound before he gassed … Hendo was able to take the fight to the ground and deal out some ground and pound in the first round of their fight and for 4 rounds Sonnen beat the s*** out of Silva.

People want to hang on the excuse of his ribs being injured or bored or wanting to prove he could submit Sonnen … thats idiocy. Sonnen was better for 4 rounds and now that he’s training with Magalhaes ( whos BJJ is superior to Silva’s ) he’s not gonna gift wrap a triangle or arm bar. The idea that Silva is going to all of a sudden develop better takedown defense against an Olympic caliber wrestler is lunacy. The fact is Sonnen can take Silva down and keep him down and do damage. This is his fight to lose
