Umm… no. Log in to Reply fightdontbefake January 20, 2013 i think anderson could easily do a 10 fight contract, with the way hes been destroying people…he should be allowed a clause though that would allow him to retire whenever he wanted to…weidman vs silva Log in to Reply kbrew007 January 20, 2013 his English sounds pretty good Log in to Reply vaughnrich January 20, 2013 I knew he didnt really sign that shit. I dont see him getting signed for anymore than a three fight deal. Log in to Reply jakelo January 20, 2013 we learned pretty much in this interview. Log in to Reply tobes January 20, 2013 reporter said “10 year contract” … very big difference between 10 years and 10 fights… geez. I expect Silva to fight two or 3 more times then retire, as he should. Want to him to go out on top Log in to Reply c..kid January 20, 2013 she got more info than ariel hawhiney! Log in to Reply shesgotit January 21, 2013 what a fold AS is… totally crumbled.. cool guy Log in to Reply gphilos January 21, 2013 Whatever happens jon jones or gsp, he deserves to be the highest paid mma fighter for a while to come (like Jordan was for basketball). I agree with fightdontbefake with the opt out clause because it could simply take too long for them to “lock” down 10 fights and to make him fight towards his end when he knows he doesn’t have it anymore would be a shame. He still will end up with all his senses after his career because he knows the limits of his own body and will even risk lawsuit because he won’t be forced into a “matchup.” Long Live Self Control!!! WAR SILVA Log in to Reply Blue Zombie January 21, 2013 Our top FOX MMA gurus are telling us it’s a 10 year contract……. “Right let’s get an interview” Log in to Reply CRO_GUY January 21, 2013 And Dana still quiet…. he-he I don’t remember him being quiet this long 4 questions like this like NEVER… Way to go Anderson – RESPECT!!! Give him some hard nights now. You have the tools and you can make your demands and stick to them. And a 10 fight contract is probably his last one so do your best and make it count. We all know UFC has the money, and if they play gipsy moves they will not be able to do it with Anderson. hehehehe i’m blooming and there’s a BIG BIG smile on my face. @Bruno I’m expecting a a video response from Dana, and to see his red head go nuts because the world once again saw he is not the lord of the universe. It’s not the money you know, it’s when you’re so vain you feel the pain… #lovingit Log in to Reply ultimate fighter January 21, 2013 I would really like to see him fight Rashad Evans next, is it really that hard for you to drop down??? fighters like Okami,Marquardt,Sonnen, Belcher, and Boetch are a lot bigger, or is it just me and he has massive legs? Log in to Reply Lodovik January 21, 2013 “So Anderson, what are going to do this evening?” “I don’t know, I have to talk to Dana and Lorenzo.” No, just kidding. So, why did Dana said the deal is signed, when AS says it’s not. What the hell is going on here? Log in to Reply Aikido4Life January 21, 2013 Silva has a huge chin! Log in to Reply mmafan1 January 22, 2013 Spider Silva vs Bones Jones already. If the UFC can make Chael ‘Big Mouth I just lost at Middle Weight Again but I get a leg shot at Jones with some TRT Cream I have a Doctors Note I got suspended for Illegal Drug Use but lot of not so smart people buy tickets to my fights’ Sonnen than they can make… SILVA vs JONES. Only the biggest fight in UFC history thats all no big deal. Log in to Reply TheKungFuLowKick January 22, 2013 10 years…What a ****ing idiot. The guy is 37 and she thinks he’ll fight 10 more years. It’s ok to take hot reporters but at least take somebody with half a brain. @Aikido4Life That’s probably why he can take punches so good. Log in to Reply steamer January 23, 2013 @gphilos agreed. I feel like Anderson is an amazing talent, but I also feel like he’s had a fairly easy road. He’s fought a lot of mid-level fighters to pad his record. The MW division just hasn’t had the talent to challenge him. I agree with CRO_GUY. Give him some hard fights. I want to see him fight some of the studs. Rather than force him to take unfavorable match ups when he’s at the end of his career, let’s challenge him now while he’s still in his prime. He can easily make 205. The excuse originally was he wouldn’t fight Lyoto. Well, he hasn’t held the belt for quite some time now. Throw him in with some 205 studs. I’d love to see him fight Shogun.
