@KungFuLowKick well said and its obvious your a great fighter or coach or both..LOL…Another reason to keep your lead hand low is that it forces your opponent to drop their gaurd as you come in close and it makes it easier to deliver body shots. Also it baits a fighter to attack your opening so you can counter him bc you premeditated his attack!

I hope they never put Leben in the hall of .Everytime he foought a guy near top 10 he lost and has HORRIBLE stand-up.Just heavy hands ridiculous chin(that wont last forever) and good BJJ.Dont get me wrong he’s good but not hall of fame good.

How well your boxing coach would do in a grappling match you think??EVERY top MMA fighter doesnt have perfect boxing stance and technics bercause they dont boxe they do MMA.The traditional boxing stance wich is more sideways then muay thai is usless against top kickboxers or grapplers.As are jabs to the stomach or the James Toney like shoulder guard.He may keep his hands at his waist to defend a takedown you know the only thing that could save Okami’s life in this fight.Also if you watched a little bit of pro boxing you would see the majority of the best boxers have their lead hand down because they protect their chin with their shoulder and their are defends their stomach.it also makes their lead hand punches harder to see coming since it can come from different angles.Why do you comment on a guy’s boxing when he’s an MMA champ?

@icolater, unfortunately, your boxing coach could not kick Anderson’s ass, so the best he could do is criticize his style, but if he went one on one, he’d be knocked out, right?

I always find it funny when amateurs confuse proper technique for actual effectiveness. The man is the best in the world. Your boxing coach isn’t as fast or as accurate, and neither are you, I’d bet my salary.

He can keep his hands wherever he wants them, he doesn’t have a history of getting hit, does he?

Anderson’s boxing in this video sucks, if my boxing coach saw me avoid a punch with my lead hand by my waist he would kick my ass. I think his boxing skills are at retard level at best I wonder what Freddie thinks of this not much I guess.
