Sometimes Anderson doesn’t train that hard and doesnt get up for fights. You’ll might think Im crazy but I think he loses this fight the same way he almost lost ot Sonnen, execpt this time he doesnt pull out a last minute submission. We’ll see. I might just put 50 bucks on it. I live in Vegas so its easy to make these kinda bets. I know its a long shot, but I think I’m going to bet on Okami. Log in to Reply casemax August 24, 2011 That’s a lot of pressure he’s dealing with, obviously.. May the best man that night win Log in to Reply mmaboxingfan2 August 24, 2011 I dont get all the hype around anderson. Chael sonnen showed how to beat anderson and I think okami will win. Log in to Reply SirhitsAlot August 24, 2011 I agree with BOBBO! Log in to Reply jdogg August 24, 2011 I hope Silva loses but I don’t think he will. Okami will threaten early, but Silva will eventually catch him with something. Log in to Reply WTFson August 24, 2011 Its almost like he didn’t want to get touched lol. They came out there to see u show some love Log in to Reply casyboy August 24, 2011 if i was a betting man? okami!…its hard to tell if brazil fans even like silva! i saw the same reaction when they brought jeffrey dammer in… Log in to Reply sooooopernate August 25, 2011 muse and bobbo just lost money down the drain Log in to Reply Wanderlei "Scooter" Silva August 25, 2011 @muse354. No shit you’re going to think Silva looks scared when you put 1000 down on Okami. Also, lol @ bobbo. You’re really questioning how hard he’s training for a fight in his homeland against the last guy to “defeat” him? Lol. The two stooges ladies and gentlemen. Log in to Reply lander911 August 25, 2011 This is just absolutely awesome/ exciting/ nerve racking/ awesome….so much pressure for the spider and I hope everyone knows he is going like 30 to 40 % right there… I love this guy…win or lose I love Anderson Silva, in a BROmosexual/idolizing kind of way of course… also the entusiasm from Brazil seems to be more than Canada’s! and that is saying alot! (ANYONE AGREE THAT: CHRIS LEBEN, DESPITE THE LACK OF TITLE CONTENTION THOURGHOUT HIS CARREER, DESERVES TO BE IN THE UFC HALL OF FAME?…I HOPE THEY PUT HIM IN WHEN HE RETIRES!) Log in to Reply rza808 August 25, 2011 He didnt look into it Log in to Reply london_Jones August 25, 2011 why why why…every fight they say the same thing…..”Chael sonnen”…..sonnen lost dumby’s!! not on points….but of lack of air to the brain! TAP TAP TAP TAP!!!! and why do you haters of the GOAT forget that sonnen was pumped with PED’s! Log in to Reply bigleejones213 August 25, 2011 silva should win and i hope he does, but very good odds on okami & big nog double. defo worth £20 bet Log in to Reply Op_of_Faith August 25, 2011 @london_Jones-agreed! They also forget that Anderson had a broken rib…and STILL won… Log in to Reply bobbo August 25, 2011 Yeah Its not like Im fully saying Okami is going to win, Im just saying might be a good bet. whoever wouldve thought Mike Tyson wouldve lost to Buster Douglas?…in the fight game sooner or later its going to happen. Take a chance, get lucky, get some nice odds and win some cash is all I’m saying. Anderson is the best ever..sooner or later someone is going to beat him. It’s goingt to be when you least expect it, just like it was with Tyson. The reason why is because the least expect it as well. Okami didnt beat Silva…Silva manhadled him and got DQ’d. Silve isnt looking ot avenge a loss. Log in to Reply MattyP August 25, 2011 @muse, @bobo, and @boxingfan Silva is def looking to avenge a “loss” on his record. Silva is clearly MMA’s GOAT. The rest of you who can’t admit that are 1.) the rookie or casual fans in this sport, 2.) still trying to get over Fedor’s irrelevance, 3.) haters. It’s all good, every sport has those that refuse to believe what they see. The same ones who still can’t see Jordan was the best baller. NO ONE in the UFC to date has the striking ability Silva has. Period. Jon Jones has the potential. Besides Silva’s fights against Maia and Leites, this guy has finished every opponent since 2004 – that’s a 16-fight span. I mean this is against top contenders and he’s doing it on a highlight reel. If there is a fight style that Silva could lose to, it’s definitely lay and pray, but this fight is not going to the judges’ scorecards fellaz, Silva’s gona finish Okami… and the haters will keep hatin. I love how some of you morons keep saying that Sonnen set the blueprint to beat Silva – Sonnen lost! If anything, Sonnen set the bluepring on how to cheat w/ steroids and get away with it, rob from the government by money laundering, take a piss on everyone else’s countries, *****-punch a man 300+ times, and still lose tappin like a b*. Wow, what a blueprint! Log in to Reply SEAN_VANCE August 25, 2011 So much for Sonnen saying the Spider not having any fans in BRazil….what a retard Log in to Reply Bernardo August 25, 2011 When Silva’s spider senses start tingling you best bet he’s gonna KO Okami in style. I notice he’s boxing more like Dos Santos and that could be dangerous bc we all know how DS does!! Log in to Reply casyboy August 25, 2011 those aren’t fans! those are people who showed up for the hanging! Log in to Reply VanDammage August 25, 2011 I got a blueprint for a F-16 – I think I’m going to go build one. Log in to Reply murell August 25, 2011 Anyone who likes silva is a Goon!worst champ to ever represent the sport! Log in to Reply Icolater August 25, 2011 Anderson’s boxing in this video sucks, if my boxing coach saw me avoid a punch with my lead hand by my waist he would kick my ass. I think his boxing skills are at retard level at best I wonder what Freddie thinks of this not much I guess. Log in to Reply Ground St. Pound August 25, 2011 @icolater, unfortunately, your boxing coach could not kick Anderson’s ass, so the best he could do is criticize his style, but if he went one on one, he’d be knocked out, right? I always find it funny when amateurs confuse proper technique for actual effectiveness. The man is the best in the world. Your boxing coach isn’t as fast or as accurate, and neither are you, I’d bet my salary. He can keep his hands wherever he wants them, he doesn’t have a history of getting hit, does he? Log in to Reply KungFuLowKick August 26, 2011 @lander911 I hope they never put Leben in the hall of .Everytime he foought a guy near top 10 he lost and has HORRIBLE stand-up.Just heavy hands ridiculous chin(that wont last forever) and good BJJ.Dont get me wrong he’s good but not hall of fame good. @Icolater How well your boxing coach would do in a grappling match you think??EVERY top MMA fighter doesnt have perfect boxing stance and technics bercause they dont boxe they do MMA.The traditional boxing stance wich is more sideways then muay thai is usless against top kickboxers or grapplers. As are jabs to the stomach or the James Toney like shoulder guard. He may keep his hands at his waist to defend a takedown you know the only thing that could save Okami’s life in this fight. Also if you watched a little bit of pro boxing you would see the majority of the best boxers have their lead hand down because they protect their chin with their shoulder and their are defends their stomach.it also makes their lead hand punches harder to see coming since it can come from different angles. Why do you comment on a guy’s boxing when he’s an MMA champ? Log in to Reply CantStandRampage August 26, 2011 I know alot of people that are going to lose money on Okami… Log in to Reply Bernardo August 26, 2011 @KungFuLowKick well said and its obvious your a great fighter or coach or both..LOL…Another reason to keep your lead hand low is that it forces your opponent to drop their gaurd as you come in close and it makes it easier to deliver body shots. Also it baits a fighter to attack your opening so you can counter him bc you premeditated his attack! Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
