Well, in fairness, he said both Bonnar and GSP were his focus. I’m not sure how that makes sense, but that’s what the man said. I’m not sure he answered very many of those questions directly, actually.

Very Weak….. GSP is considerably smaller especially his reach. GSP should not take that fight.
If Silva wants to be the best he should challenge Bones!!!!
If he can beat a guy who uses his striking and his size advantage (just like Anderson does) then he is definitely the best.

Wow, he’s focusing on Georges “Safe” Pierre but Safe has stated 1000 times (and made every excuse in the book) why he DOESNT want to fight Spider.. Poor GSP, everyone inc Dana wants him to fight Spider but he is so scared of getting Matt Serra’d again that he’s TRYING to back out of the fight wihout looking like a chicken.
Georges, you have no chance against Spider and will get embarrassed (truss me) to the point where you will have to retire.. You have NO striking or sub game and couldnt even finish Kos, Fitch or Hardy. Ur last sub win was *gulp* 2007 and ur last KO was 2006. Clearly you’ve mastered the art of lay-n-pray to win fights.
I got it: Here’s what you Georges..
Lose the fight with Carlos then you can say that you cant fight Spider cus you want to re-match Carlos. Then fake an injury (broken big toe) so the re-match doesnt happen for at least 1 year. This way you’ll NEVER have to meet Spider plus you’ll keep your “legendary” status within the novice mma fan’s mind.

1st round silva by TKO. And yes he said his focus is Gsp And Stephen Bonner. Im pretty sure he could probly take them both on on the same NIGHT. Then turn around and fight Jon a couple weeks later. He would have to actually Focus on Jon. Jon Jones vs Anderson Silva, Is the Manny Pacqiao Vs Floyd Mayweather of MMA. It may never Happen… But Maybe it will.

Man i usually root against Anderson when he fights, but when i see interviews like this i love him. He seem like a great guy. Its just one of those things where when someone dominated for so long you want to see him finally get beat.

He was giving stephan far too much credit, I don’t know why people think silva is so arrogant, I always see him as a pretty humble person. I also agree I don’t like the GSP vs Silva idea, I don’t think GSP has the physical capability to stay with silva, but it’d be interesting none the less
