I thought weidman got lucky the first time but there’s no doubt now Weidman is champ. Log in to Reply Boobs415 December 29, 2013 Silva and his camp tried (unsuccessfully) to intimidate Weidman pre-fight. If Silva is gonna talk the talk he’s gotta walk the walk. Or in his case limp, crawl the walk. LOL!!! War Weidman! Log in to Reply PAPABear December 29, 2013 Weidman defeats Silva again!! By LUCK again!!…lmao, what a sad way to beat the greatest of all time… Lets see if Weidman can hold the title for 7 years…. good luck… Log in to Reply Wink December 29, 2013 You know that break is a very traumatic injury. It hurts and it sucks to see Silva screaming like that multiple times during movement. Different people have different emotions under different circumstances. On the same note. The self submition by Leben was another emotional loss. There is a aging fan favorite generation on the verge of ufc retirement. Make way for the new breed. Log in to Reply FailSonnen December 29, 2013 Silva hit him at the wrong angle when he threw the kick; Chris tried to check it but didnt even properly check the kick in time cause it was so fast. Basically Silva threw the kick at a wrong angle like throwing a kick into the corner of a wall. That kick is meant to hit the meaty side of the calf not Chris’ shin. Log in to Reply justafan December 29, 2013 All American Weidman is the Champion!!!!! He beat the crap out of Silva in the first round, and was on his way to KO him on the second………………… first fighter to match Silva on his movement!!!!! Key!!!! Log in to Reply gravytrain December 29, 2013 Papabear – 7 years – true – break down the class – I give Silva props for beating Franklin – good champion but not great – Franklin had cleared the whole class. Sonnen was a challenge – not the top tier but was game. Beat Silva’s azzzz. Silva gets lucky and pulls it off after being dominated. He gets dominated again and faces a person with KO power. Weidman is better – Doesn’t matter if he holds the belt 7 years , 1 year, 4 years blah blah blah. He is just that much better than Silva period. 10 out of 10 times Weidman wins. If Silva was as GREAT as everyone claims – why no superfight? Why not step up to Jones when he had the chance? Hey, why not GSP? Sonnen called it. People will barely rmember half the cans he beat – they will remember how he was dominated in two fights. KTFO in fight one, dominated and sustaining a nasty injury to a fighter that had a better game plan. Weidman called it early – Dana – I am going to mess up your dream of superfights. All we can do now is hope he steps up and challenges Jones. Log in to Reply High Stakes December 29, 2013 what a shame! december 28, 2013 the end of an era! Log in to Reply Rugburn December 29, 2013 This sucks!! I wanted closure here. I wanted Weidman or Silva to win by KO. I picked Weidman to win by using his wrestling to soften and damage Silva enough to catch him with a KO shot. He was definitely doing that until this freak accident. Now Silva will have another reasonable excuse. But its clear that Weidman is Silva’s krypotonite!! Log in to Reply Enki December 29, 2013 I’m sick of people saying luck, had A.S broke Weidman’s leg everyone would be in awe of his greatness. However Weidman has been practicing for months for that exact type of Knee check which does inflict lots of damage if done right, and he gets the leg KO with it and somehow its luck. If you look he executed the knee to shin, perfectly. Log in to Reply shocktime December 29, 2013 He won’t hold belt for long. Jacare will eat Weidman alive on the ground. You don’t wanna roll with a Gator! Log in to Reply mrl3 December 29, 2013 FailSonnen – You know nothing….it’s obvious. Log in to Reply coutura December 29, 2013 I Back believe me I back …lol…. the guy is a clown and fake and disrespects his oponents Log in to Reply PAPABear December 29, 2013 Weidman, the luckiest UFC champ EVER! LMAO … I love the way everyone hates on AS saying bunch of sh*t that makes no sense LMAO Log in to Reply coutura December 29, 2013 gravytrain you a clown stop talking shit Anderson was the man till 2013 its over now Log in to Reply The Holy Cow December 29, 2013 “I back…” LMMFAO!!! Log in to Reply gravytrain December 29, 2013 Coutura – Geeze! I understand going years without a loss is not easy to do. He smacked down a lot of people including Griffin, Cote, and Irwin; I give you that. This GOAT of all time is over hyped. Fedor was the man too – right? Machida and Silva would not fight – because we friends. I want to fight de best – but no super fight. I fight Bonnar. Like I said, it took awhile for the farm club to produce some new up and comers. It took awhile. For all who say Weidman was lucky, I guess you are right. Lucky to be stronger, better, smarter and technically sound. KNOCKED OUT first fight. Lucky? Sure. Second fight – Almost a repeat of the 1st fight. I like his luck. Maybe Silva recovers fights a 3rd time and a 4th time. It’s like a 4 leaf clover – all luck – all Weidman. Belfort – really? I say Weidman gets lucky again and retires Belfort as well. Yoiur choice a luck KTFO or Submission. Now lets talk about that real superfight. Log in to Reply mmafan11 December 30, 2013 Don’t understand the hate for any fighter who fights in the Octagon much less Silva. I guess MMA has some RETARD Fans who hate on Silva, he was G.O.A.T in his time. Weidman is the current Champ lets see his Title run niether Victor nor Rockhold are push overs. Stylistically Victor matches up much better with Weidman, better BJJ than Silva, better wrestling than Silva, better Boxing & more & Faster Power Punches than Silva plus his been dominating his opponents lately. I still think Weidman wins a decision vs Belfort even though I’m a fan from way back in the 90’s of Victor. If Weidman is going to be a dominant long running Champ than he has to get into Super Fights like vs John Bones Jones. I believe Bones beats Weidman easy as would Gustaffason or even Rhashad Evans. Log in to Reply steamer December 30, 2013 There’s no luck to it. These guys fought twice with it ending abruptly both times and Silva physically unable to continue both times. Either way, luck or not, if I fought someone twice and got knocked out the first time and dragged out on a stretcher with a broken leg the second time, I’m not messin with that dude anymore. Log in to Reply coutura December 30, 2013 That kick was with bad intentions he wanted to break Weidmans knee lol Anderson it’s a fake. Log in to Reply ericsson December 30, 2013 the dude is done, Chris Weidman is just too ****ing strong Log in to Reply Dover-foxcroft December 30, 2013 Weedman was just the other guy in the ring when Silva started acting his age. You are supposed to check leg kicks. The title is nw ripe for the picking. Log in to Reply rampage December 30, 2013 the next guy who fights weidman is going to win the belt. Log in to Reply *****lipsbjj December 30, 2013 Mma fans are p4p the douchiest fans of any sport Log in to Reply Nietosky December 30, 2013 “I back..” LOL that was funny Log in to Reply Seeitstraight December 31, 2013 Ok, I’m just going to tell it how it is. Silva lost the first fight cuz Chris knocked him out. Chris also took him down and gave him a beating. Silva was not ahead at any point in time. The second fight, Chris could’ve and should’ve knocked him out again but missed on a couple follow ups. However, Chris once again took AS down and gave him even more of a beating. At no point once again was AS ahead of the fight. Chris made AS miss in most of his punches by jumping in and out like joe rogan said. Chris has the style to beat AS and proved it twice period. I was actually pissed it ended like that cuz everyone would say “Chris got lucky again” stop being blind and see it as it is!!! AS is bad ass but Chris has his number, simple as that. I actually think AS’s taunts help him in fights. It makes the other person feel hopeless and AS takes advantage. Chris beat him both with the taunts and without. Log in to Reply paddedummy January 1, 2014 It’s now official, out of Fedor, Anderson Silva and Jon Jones, GSP was the best pound for pound without any super catch weight fight needed. Fedor and Silva took embarassing beatings that retired them, Jones looked barely average the first time he fought a guy his own size, but GSP avenged his losses to Serra and Hughes early in his career and then had a winning streak before choosing to retire on his own terms. Only biased retards like Dana who don’t know how to score mma gave Hendricks the W. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
