how do you guys think anderson will do if henderson drops down to middleweight for the ufc? my opinion, possibly the most interesting match up ever (henderson with the win).

i have to agree. i think that will be one of the most interesting fights ever!! but i think Silva can still pull it off. Henderson is more experienced and can take a punch…. we all saw that against Jackson….but silva just has some nasty stand up and all around game. Silva wins mark my words

YEA Anderson!!!! I could watch him do that all day!!! I could be wrong but I think Anderson is gonna SMASH Hendo. Henderson is good and all, but I see him rushing in for a takedown and Anderson dropping him ala the Leben fight. Not as bad, because Hendo is a more formidable opponent, but I still see his striking being a huge problem for Hendo. Now if Hendo gets past the barrages and takes him down, Anderson is no chump off his back as we have seen. All I know is, this should be an exciting fight.

I’m more envisioning henderson as I don’t see spider dominating him in stand up (although i give him the edge there) ’cause hendo is just too dangerous there.
in clinch spider’s got those knees but he’d better be careful as hendo could ko him or get him down ( the place where hendo will have the most advantage IMO.

If I was spider i’d try to keep it standing/sprawling . It’ll be wild to see what happens if he tries muay thai on hendo

the question whether he can take a knee , or whether spider can control hendo there. or if nendo gets top position can spider get up and out. the Okami fight sadly ended too soon. I couldn’t imagine spider not eventually beating Okami excepting the DQ but it was interesting the times Okami was able to take spider down.

Either someone gets spectacularly knocked out. could be either one of them. or, it will be hendo by drawn out unanimous or split decision.

I give it to anderson because he is an actual fighter and it is his career and actually does it where as bruce trains to fight but then only pretends to fight in movies me and my brother fought about it what do u guys think

As far as Silva vs Henderson goes I believe that Henderson is the perfect type of fighter to defeat Silva. While Silva’s Muay Thai clinch is great as shown against Rich Franklin, Henderson could just body clinch him and slam him to the mat. I don’t believe Henderson would give Silva any room to throw effective knees. On the other hand if you would compare this match to say GSP (great striker) and Hughes (great wrestler) Henderson could be overwhelmed on his feet. Hughes does not have something that Henderson does and that’s knockout power with that right hand.
