UFC is not a sport. It is just like the WWE, except that it is less fake. It is all marketing. They own all the fighters, they control the ratings and who fights who. THey decide who gets a shot at the title. It is so lame. White is a jerk, Rogan is his puppet always beaking off about how good these fighters are. What a joke. Bring back Pride, which was REAL fighting, folks. And shut up about your drugs, they all take it, every last one of them and you know it.

bunch of emotional kids on this site… yea im looking at you failsonnen. Trash talk is part of the fight game, wake up. Sonnen is making silva alot of money and vise versa, but as others have pointed out if sonnen retaliated to silva’s shoulder and a fight broke out, then the actually fight is cancelled and everybody loses.

You know it takes reading threads like these that sadly remind me again how stupid, gullible, ignorant, and just plain inept people are to how this ,and other sports like this really work.

I am almost willing to bet a majority of the people that post “Look what he said about his wife, kids, and Brazil. He deserves to get punched.” have an IQ lower than my dog.

Talking s*** has been in the fighting game for as long as contact sports have been around. Most people that say “s*** talking is just disrespectful and a disgrace to the sport.” probably can’t talk s***. They lack the vocabulary and wit to do what someone like Sonnen does.

Most of the time they are a knuckle throwing meathead that can barely put one coherent sentence together, much less several. Bottom line people are watching this fight BECAUSE of Sonnen. Whether you want to see him win or get severely beaten, your still going to watch.

Talking s*** is NOT against the rules (no matter WHO you are talking s*** about) but checking someone at a press/fan event IS. For everyone that thinks what Silva did is “cool” and Sonnen “deserved it” really needs to find another sport to watch, because MMA is a little bit outside your ability to truly understand.
