amir is one of the most durable guys i’ve ever seen compete in mma. in due time, he will surely be a force to be reckoned with in the middleweight division. he’s got a good x factor combination going for him - heart and toughness. his fighting intelligence is amazing. he looked like a mma pro of 10 years during this fight, calm and just never gives up, and i thought serra was the rocky of mma..amir;s the true rocky of tuf 7.

WHOOOOOOO!!!
Nice arm bar.

I knew Admir was going to win.
He’s very aggresive, works hard, always acvtive.
He controlls his fights with his pace an activeness.

I’m glad he snagged that armbar.
From the way the fight was looking,
CB would have taken the decision.
He had the most takedowns, an controlled the ground the most.

but you can see where he lacked.
He got some good punches an elbows in,
but when Admir had something to answer them wit, you could see CB draw back, lay an rest, he wasn’t as active as he should be.
Admir’s srawl was good an kept CB working.

stand up wise, Admir controlled that whole area.
He got 2 good body kick knockdowns.
That CB had nothing for either.
He had nothing for when Admir was rushing him wit punches an kicks.
All he had the whole fight was his takedowns.

i think Admir wins the whole thing..

OMFG!!! That kid is a hardcase! Hope he takes it, Taylor fights at the speed of growing grass and I don’t think another LnP game plan is gonna cut it for the final. Rampage must also be pissed that his best boy is out and that the rest of his team was sub-par.

Best fight on TUF7 by far.

BORING!!! YAWN!!! this was so sh*t!!! I was hoping something exiting would happen… I should have known that nothing was going to happen when the ref didn’t stand them up after they laid on the ground for 2 minutes… CB practically armbarred himself!… SHI*T grapplers.

Yep… I can see these guys become cans in a couple of years… kind of like Griffin… they will get their record padded… get a title shot, lose, and then just become “cans”.

Look at Griffin… 2-1 in his last 3 fist and he gets a title shot!!!!! Rashad undefeated, Lyoto undefeated.. but who gets the shot?.. yep Griffin….LOL

If Amir gets a handle on his take down defense, he’s going to be a real force. WAR AMIR!

Amir is the man, skillful in many ways, even with blood in his eyes he took this fight real calm.
I very happy that amir won, everyone else except for brown were meat heads without any fight skills.

You guys calling it a shit fight..why exactly?

It was a good, exciting battle between 2 amateurs, 1 guy was getting elbowed+losing the fight, then he pulls off a submission in the last round for the win. It had blood, ground and pound, good kicks and punches landed also. How is that shit LOL?

I can’t really see how anyone can hate on Amir, he has a record of 0-0. The progress he’s made is nothing short of amazing and he’ll only get better.
Also, I noticed someone complaining about Forrest getting a title shot. I’ll agree that he might not have the best record, but people like him and he’s exciting to watch. There’s a reason Rashad Evans isn’t getting a shot, nobody wants to watch him fight. You have to remember that it’s television. It’s about bringing in the most viewers, not saying it’s right but that’s how it is. UFC is looking to attract casual fans, not just the hardcore mma people.
But I agree with you about Machida, hopefully he’ll get a shot soon.

Amir is a great fighter and he isn’t an asshole! Amazing!

Whoever says that was a boring fight is crazy. Amir took a beating and gave a beating. This guy has ZERO experience. He is a natural for this sport. Imagine what a good camp could do for him?

Plus, Forrest beat Shogun. Sure, Shogun didn’t look exactly like the monster he usually does, but Shogun was gunna have a quick title shot, just as Rampage did with Liddell… but he lost. Forrest beat the number 1 contender as far as I’m concerned.

And while I’m at it… Rampage has been catching a stroke of luck. The guys that have destroyed him in the past are losing to others before they even get a hand on Jackson. (Shogun and Wanderlei) I’m just waiting for them to climb the ranks and beat him. haha

To continue Mike’s point about Forrest. Forrest is getting a title shot because he beat Shogun. No, he mauled Shogun and made him look pathetic. Sure, Shogun was injured, but so was Forrest. Regardless, Shogun was considered the best in the world at 205, and Forrest beat him easily.

Forrest earned the title shot then.

P.S. I’ve been sayin Amir is gunna win this thing since day 1. haha, in my eyes, he’s already the Ultimate Fighter, seeing that he’s already beat his opponent for the finale. lol

I can’t believe CB gets to fight Amir again in the Finals, what the hell… I Can’t stand that CB Guy, just a meat head that only can G&P.. I Hope Amir knocks him out this time… If CB wins, he should not get the money or the title…. GO AMIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uhm, everyone downing Forrest is dumb.
ha.

That guy may have been beat by some guys,
but he only got caught off guard.
He never takes a real beating in any fight.
His fight against tito, he was losing,
but came back strong.

Im rooting forrest whoops up on rampage.
Rampage is garbage.
He either waits to catch that luck knockout,
or to get a good slam or 2 in to win a decision.

Whack game.

Admir is like a young Forrest,
he comes at you no matter what,
he takes some crazy shots.
But he still will walk all over you.

Admir has the ultimate fighter in the bag.

I like amir, but i dont know how anyone can say amir dominated this fight. Sure, he’s got an iron jaw but i dont see him going anywhere in the UFC. CB has a badass ground game and stand up. He dominated this fight hands down and almost won more than once. I think the armbar was a freak thing, not skill. Frank Muir beating brock lesnar after getting beat up was skill, this was just sad. Once CB gets into the UFC and gets some good coaching, and he will, he’ll be a great all around fighter.

CB had great leg kicks, he took a few really good punches, BUT BLOCKED MOST OF THEM, and he teed off on amir’s face way more than amir actually connected.

Let’s get this out of the way:

Anybody who says that Rampage is garbage clearly doesn’t know shit about MMA.

CB got caught because he’s a cocky prick. He was practically goading Amir by standing up while Amir had control of one or both of his arms, he thought he was invincible. Unfortunately for all Amir fans (including myself), I don’t forsee Amir pulling it out over CB, even though CB has looked anything but impressive recently.

Honestly, both of them need to work on their conditioning a bit. Amir’s takedown defense is downright terrible, as well. If he’s been working on that, then he should be in good shape, since he throws punches and kicks harder and faster than CB, and has better standing defense as well.

I kinda still see CB laying on Amir for the duration of this next fight though.

I like Amir over CB or is it The CB for the finale. Amir looks like a rapist in his fight pic.
