lol…one easy thing would be to compare their fight records. (Against quality opponents)

Before you drown in this sea of stupidity, and no I’m not an expert on MMA, this site doesn’t require posters to be MMA fighters, coaches, or trainers.

Also, I should point out that I was being sarcastic. “Basically everyone in the division is my sarcastic point.”

I’m still a fan of Cro-Cop because of his pride fights, but he is just another example of fighters with great success outside the UFC and less than par once in the UFC.

everyone is incorrectly assuming that Brock will easily take down Alistair. Overeem’s TD defense has improved a lot, and when strikes are mixed in, it makes wrestling more perilous and difficult (if you are not a confident striker, which Brock is not).

Overeem will get taken down in this fight, but he will find a way back to his feet and he will prove to have better cardio and a more complete skill set than Brock. Lesnar to his credit, will make a fight of it. If it’s a three round fight, it goes the distance. If it’s a 5 round fight, Lesnar gets put away in the third or fourth.

Out of the sea of stupid comments that I read on here, your’s jumped out at me. What the hell makes you think the entire UFC heavyweight division is better than Overeem. You watch one boring strike force fight and you think you’re some kind of expert. News flash, both times Overeem and Verdum fought it was boring and went to decision. They got each other’s number. Brock Lesnar isn’t a BJJ black belt and sucks at stand up, yet you don’t give him s***? Brock Lesnar should really be fighting Bob Sapp, not Overeem.

UFC has so many great fights they can put on atm.. its win win for the UFC if he loses give him Cain – that would be an AWESOME match up.. if he wins give him Dos Santos another AWESOME match up

I get a laugh out of people calling Overeem, Overoid while defending Brock.

Overeem has never been busted for roids while Brock has been arrested with HGH.

Some crazy minded people posting on here. I can’t see Overeem losing to either Brock or JDS. I do see a good fight with JDS. I see Brock getting KO’d, even if he takes Overeem down I don’t see him holding him there. Dare I say, Overeem is stronger than Brock.
