The good news is, this is the last time we’ll see Brock!

Beast w/ 8 Limbs Says, in 11-16-2011 at 10:59:00 from

Maybe he’ll beat Brock, maybe not. Either way Dos Santos would send him back to playing kick the can in no time.

JoeDog Says, in 11-16-2011 at 11:35:17 from

Although we know anything can and does happen, I really hope he does KO Lesnar and send him packing. My prediction is this will play out like the Valasquez fight. Lesnar gets hit (or kicked or both) in his big stupid bucket head, feels the pain, curls up like a little girl taking multiple punches until the ref cannot stand to see more. On the other hand, Lesnar might get sick again before the fight. I don’t think we have heard the last of his diverticulitis, surgery or not. Who would his replacement be?

Raamthunder Says, in 11-16-2011 at 12:09:33 from

Overeem can beat Lesnar, and he can defiantly outstrike JDS. Theres a reason he won the k-1 championships

mscash Says, in 11-16-2011 at 12:55:35 from

Short list of HV who I see being able to beat the Reem.

Shane Carwin
Frank Mir
Stefan Struve
Roy Nelson

Basically everyone in the division is my sarcastic point …

I think the Reem will experience something similar to Jake Shields UFC career so far. Both have had success in numerous organizations, but when it comes to the UFC, they are going to find that it’s a different fight world now.

It was also particularly funny that the Reem was promising an exciting fight and also predicting a first round knockout. I still laugh when I watch the Reem and Verdum fight. Verdum on his back begging and the Reem day-dreaming of a horse meat barbecue hoagie.

he sounds very confident

shocktime Says, in 11-16-2011 at 13:34:18 from

Replace him with Brock with Cain if he gets injured. I’m sure Cain would be down for that

shocktime Says, in 11-16-2011 at 13:35:24 from

WTF did I say?
……If Brock gets injured, let Cain fight Overroid, there we go

^^^^ Says, in 11-16-2011 at 13:44:34 from

I see Overeem beating Lesnar, but if Lesnar is able to take him down, I don’t see him getting back up. Also, I see him losing to JDS, not saying he doesn’t have a chance to win, but if Werdum was able to land punches on him, JDS will knock him out. We all know Overeem can be knocked out.

bushmoonson Says, in 11-16-2011 at 13:56:15 from

Reem is garb. He was nobody important before roids, and has beaten nobody important since taking roids.

@mscash – You are whats wrong with MMA today.

I, for one, am HELLA excited for this fight.
As a big Übereem fan (Biased perhaps ;) ), I see him pummeling Brock back to the WWF, kness & hooks stylee. Who’s next…..Hogan, Carwin, Piper, JDS, JYD!? Get real. Alistair shall make waves in the division, a la when Rampage came and knocked out ya boy Chump Liddell.
It was written.
P.S. Who isn’t drooling over a Cigano vs Overeem superfight?♠

julian moran Says, in 11-16-2011 at 14:19:34 from

On paper Overeem should knock Dos Santos out in the first round.
Lesnar may be the hardest fight for Overeem.
Lesnar is the only fighter who matches his strength and has high level wrestling which is Overeem’s weakness.
Overeem vs Velaskes would look a lot like Dos Santos vs Velaskes, except 1 punch will be enough for Overeem to put Velaskes away.
Hopefully Overeem does ko Lesnar in a brutal and fun to re-watch fashion.

Freaklegion Says, in 11-16-2011 at 14:39:08 from

My guess is 95% of fighters have cycled roids at some point in their career.

Overeem just went all Barry Bonds with it, give the guy a break.

Pope Says, in 11-16-2011 at 14:41:18 from

I really hope he wins so we can see him fight JDS. Its a really close match and both of them don’t have very good striking defense and are more offensive. Both have the ability to knock each other out in one punch. JDS will have the edge in speed, toughness and cardio, but overeem has the knees, kicks, and the guillotine/submission game. Should be a very interesting matchup.

Swordsmansmith Says, in 11-16-2011 at 15:12:15 from

Brock is 100% for the first time in his career in mma. He’s hungry and focused after being out and his previous loss. Overoid is going to the floor followed by multiple lunch box size fist to the face. Then he can go back to fighting nobody’s in Japan and can juice all he wants.

Master Yoda Says, in 11-16-2011 at 15:28:37 from

Overeem will BEAT THE SNOT out of Less Nar.

mscash Says, in 11-16-2011 at 15:42:47 from

“@mscash – You are whats wrong with MMA today.”

You’re too kind. Now put your ass hat back on and get back in the Reem nut hugging corner.

Also, I’m sure you’re drooling. It’s probably genetics.

But a “super fight” between Cigano and the Reem? WTF is so super about that? That Cigano will knock that horse meat eating blimp out faster than he did Cain?

Death Grip Says, in 11-16-2011 at 17:33:11 from

Brock will shoot on Reem like he has never seen before. Then it’s all ground and pound. If Reem can’t get up expect it to be a Lesnar win by stoppage after some hammer fists.

Brock will not stand up with him.

snype6969 Says, in 11-16-2011 at 18:04:39 from

if overoid gets taken down hes f*****. if brock stays standing hes f*****. and overoid was a f***** middle weight before the roids. everyone knows he was and still is on the s***, dana knows it too. but hell get off it close enough to the test to pass it. thts why he always ran to japan. they never test for roids. i hate brock bigtime, but i hope he f**** reem up. hes seriously overated and has never faced anyone of any importance. hell even chuck kicked his ass. then after that i want to see brock get ktfo, and im talkin nasty put to sleep ko. send him back to wwe, monday night raw needs the talent. starting to suck

Msexton1 Says, in 11-16-2011 at 19:11:44 from

People seem to forget that Reem GASES out wayyyyyyyyyyy to fast. come on if the fight makes it out the first round brock will win. Reem will gas out brock will take him down nd hammerfist his face in

Hanabahn Says, in 11-16-2011 at 19:38:03 from

Some crazy minded people posting on here. I can’t see Overeem losing to either Brock or JDS. I do see a good fight with JDS. I see Brock getting KO’d, even if he takes Overeem down I don’t see him holding him there. Dare I say, Overeem is stronger than Brock.

Niv Says, in 11-16-2011 at 19:54:07 from

I get a laugh out of people calling Overeem, Overoid while defending Brock.

Overeem has never been busted for roids while Brock has been arrested with HGH.

If you’re going to make stupid accusations have the decency to bash the guy that was at least caught.

bob Says, in 11-16-2011 at 20:23:47 from

UFC has so many great fights they can put on atm.. its win win for the UFC if he loses give him Cain – that would be an AWESOME match up.. if he wins give him Dos Santos another AWESOME match up

ahh Dana as much as I hate your monolopy ways I also love it… thanks for bringing some bad ass fighters together… and I know I shouldnt of doubted you haha!

P.S. Oh make the GSP and Diaz fight an co-main event and I will probably have a wet dream over UFC141!

Danby Says, in 11-16-2011 at 21:15:11 from

Overeem wont be able to get up?! Randy friggn couture got up!?! And hes an old man who was like 60′lbs lighter?! Overeem will add brock to his daily intake of horsemeat.

wow Says, in 11-16-2011 at 22:51:45 from

Any person who actually thinks Brock Lesnar even has a chance with this guy is a complete idiot.
Out of the sea of stupid comments that I read on here, your’s jumped out at me. What the hell makes you think the entire UFC heavyweight division is better than Overeem. You watch one boring strike force fight and you think you’re some kind of expert. News flash, both times Overeem and Verdum fought it was boring and went to decision. They got each other’s number. Brock Lesnar isn’t a BJJ black belt and sucks at stand up, yet you don’t give him s***? Brock Lesnar should really be fighting Bob Sapp, not Overeem.

dank Says, in 11-17-2011 at 00:39:25 from

you overeem haters are some rainbow warriors, i bet you never followed this guys career that is why you speak so ignorantly of him. google his opponents and google dos santos’s opponents, watch his fights then open your fat mouths.

tobes Says, in 11-17-2011 at 01:47:10 from

everyone is incorrectly assuming that Brock will easily take down Alistair. Overeem’s TD defense has improved a lot, and when strikes are mixed in, it makes wrestling more perilous and difficult (if you are not a confident striker, which Brock is not).

Overeem will get taken down in this fight, but he will find a way back to his feet and he will prove to have better cardio and a more complete skill set than Brock. Lesnar to his credit, will make a fight of it. If it’s a three round fight, it goes the distance. If it’s a 5 round fight, Lesnar gets put away in the third or fourth.

ness2k Says, in 11-17-2011 at 03:47:06 from

Why do so many people don’t like Overeem? People pass him to the side to much. He’s not a push over at all

mscash Says, in 11-17-2011 at 12:40:42 from

lol…one easy thing would be to compare their fight records. (Against quality opponents)

Before you drown in this sea of stupidity, and no I’m not an expert on MMA, this site doesn’t require posters to be MMA fighters, coaches, or trainers.

Also, I should point out that I was being sarcastic. “Basically everyone in the division is my sarcastic point.”

I’m still a fan of Cro-Cop because of his pride fights, but he is just another example of fighters with great success outside the UFC and less than par once in the UFC.
