It will take luck for Belfort to win. I’m guessing this fight will start like the Belfort vs A. Silva fight where Belfort stands dumbfounded until Jones does some super-natural combination of punches, kicks, elbows, forearms, knees etc…. The only speed Belfort will display is his fall to the mat where Jones will finish with the usual display of more of the above. Then, Jones will thank Jesus and the fans will wait for his next opponent. Who will that be?….

I AM putting money on Vitor, are you kidding me?? At those odds and with his real chance of beating Jones I would be sleeping not to throw down some paper on the Phenom!

Jones is an impressive fighter, but people are too high on this kid. Nobody has seen him deal with adversity yet. When Machida & Rashad hit him he didn’t react very well.

Bones relies HEAVILY on his lead leg when striking and he moves straight back when under attack. If slow-moving Rampage eventually capitalized on that and landed an inside leg kick followed by a left hand you don’t think that Vitor, one of the fastest & most skilled & experienced fighters ever, can capitalize on it??

By Jones own admission Vitor is a WAY more dangerous opponent than Henderson.

the only advantage jones has standing up is his reach. i think vitor loses this fight anywhere else. vitor’s technical striking and speed are both better than jones. jones subs are better and vitor got subbed by overeem who at lhw had a similar body to jones (long). in the clinch vitor will get thrown and from the bottom he will get r**** by jones ground and pound. (jones and shogun have the most underrated gnp in the game) basically vitor has a punchers chance but ill be rooting for him. one of my fav fighters

im attending this event and i cant wait, at these odds i am probably betting 50$ on vitor just for the hell of an upset

not only does Vitor need to rush him but needs to constantly apply pressure every one let’s jones set up all his moves and dictate were the fight happens. Every time jones gets hit hard he backs out and resets.jones has not dislayed the ability to fight going backwards someone needs to impose there will on him and don’t let him breath.

Jones “fights” have looked more like sparring practices (specially against Rampage, Jones even admitted so!) than real fights! We still don’t fully know what this kid got!

@Spektor Yeah, Couture beat Belfort eight years ago, I’m sure Vitor hasn’t changed at all since then…
@rockstarzee Vitor has been submitted once in SIXTEEN year of professional fighting. Harldy a reason to think JJ is going to be able to submit him.

@Spektor randy is one of the best ever pal.just because you can’t see that does not mean its un true.its all about game plans and randy had the right game plan to beat vitor plain and simple.randy said vitor was the strongest fighter he ever fought even over brock lesner.
