Tweet Pin It UFC 152 Pre-Fight Press Conference Video Tommy Toe Hold Show – UFC Injury Bug 29 Comments toup September 20, 2012 Overeem, thiago silva, belfort 3 steroid users training together, that’s cool. Unfortunately Vitor has no chance in hell of winning, anybody who really thinks he does should put money on him then! Log in to Reply JayDeeHero September 20, 2012 I didn’t know Thiago Silva was a blackzilian Log in to Reply DodieBoy September 20, 2012 This would have been a “super fight” if Vitor was in his prime. Still think he has a great shot to take the belt Log in to Reply glenn September 20, 2012 i think vitor has a chance only with his speed,he need to counter like machida did, machida did hit jones with a counter punch ofcoure machida doesnt have the same power as vitor Log in to Reply mma made easy September 20, 2012 lol I wouldn’t bet against Jones since his fight with Shogun, or Silva since his fight with Leben, or GSP since his second fight with Hughes. Log in to Reply Iron_Cobra September 20, 2012 I think Vitor just needs to land one good punch to make Jones shoot. Then try to beat jones up on the ground. Anywhere else is too dangerous. I’ve never like jones and especially after he beat down my boy shogun. Log in to Reply Spektor September 20, 2012 randy coutre beat vitor, and alister beat him twice. If couture can beat vitor i dont see him beating jon jones Log in to Reply TheKungFuLowKick September 20, 2012 @toup You take any camp and you’ll have as much steroid users. The only difference is the 3 you mentioned got caught. Log in to Reply Joe Dog September 20, 2012 It will take luck for Belfort to win. I’m guessing this fight will start like the Belfort vs A. Silva fight where Belfort stands dumbfounded until Jones does some super-natural combination of punches, kicks, elbows, forearms, knees etc…. The only speed Belfort will display is his fall to the mat where Jones will finish with the usual display of more of the above. Then, Jones will thank Jesus and the fans will wait for his next opponent. Who will that be?…. Log in to Reply anakonda September 20, 2012 Elephant wins lion easily… Lion can scratch a tree, elephants can destroy them. The only thing that puzzles me is that height/reach/power of Jones, he has really special build to be able to pull that off at 205.That is his most outstanding talent but he has others too. I hope that was just a joke that he is a muslim now, usually these sudden enlightments mean that the hyped people get so self centered that they have to be God’s messengers as well if they can’t be Gods themselves. Log in to Reply MMABESTPICKS September 20, 2012 I AM putting money on Vitor, are you kidding me?? At those odds and with his real chance of beating Jones I would be sleeping not to throw down some paper on the Phenom! Jones is an impressive fighter, but people are too high on this kid. Nobody has seen him deal with adversity yet. When Machida & Rashad hit him he didn’t react very well. Bones relies HEAVILY on his lead leg when striking and he moves straight back when under attack. If slow-moving Rampage eventually capitalized on that and landed an inside leg kick followed by a left hand you don’t think that Vitor, one of the fastest & most skilled & experienced fighters ever, can capitalize on it?? By Jones own admission Vitor is a WAY more dangerous opponent than Henderson. Log in to Reply RobT September 20, 2012 @Spektor, dude, that’s all dumb talk. A beat B and B beat C so A should beat C. Nah. Log in to Reply rockstarzee September 20, 2012 the only advantage jones has standing up is his reach. i think vitor loses this fight anywhere else. vitor’s technical striking and speed are both better than jones. jones subs are better and vitor got subbed by overeem who at lhw had a similar body to jones (long). in the clinch vitor will get thrown and from the bottom he will get raped by jones ground and pound. (jones and shogun have the most underrated gnp in the game) basically vitor has a punchers chance but ill be rooting for him. one of my fav fighters Log in to Reply 4giveness September 20, 2012 if Vitor was tentative against the spider, imagine how timid he’ll be against Jones with a 217 inch reach….let’s be honest, Vitor is going to get picked apart, and then brutally finished, even he knows this is his fate. The fans love you Vitor, but Jesus ain’t gonna stop Jones from whippin’ that ass…. Log in to Reply Danby September 20, 2012 Jones by front kick 1 minute into the first round. Log in to Reply brucelee23 September 20, 2012 Vitor should rush Jones with brute speed and power, its his only shot at pulling out the upset !!! Log in to Reply chamilton September 20, 2012 im attending this event and i cant wait, at these odds i am probably betting 50$ on vitor just for the hell of an upset Log in to Reply poughton September 20, 2012 vitor needs to actually wht he did to the axe murder with his power and speed its his only chance tedt jones chin early and often Log in to Reply Ironfist September 20, 2012 not only does Vitor need to rush him but needs to constantly apply pressure every one let’s jones set up all his moves and dictate were the fight happens. Every time jones gets hit hard he backs out and resets.jones has not dislayed the ability to fight going backwards someone needs to impose there will on him and don’t let him breath. Log in to Reply MMABESTPICKS September 20, 2012 precisely Ironfist, Jones only fights forward, never backwards, never in a prolonged exchange, NOBODY has pressure this kid, he has held a mental edge over every fighter he fought which will NOT be the case against Vitor! MMATH dosen’t work, comparing this fight to Silva vs Belfort just shows how little those who make such a comparison understand MMA. Jones is not nearly as good standing up as Silva! Log in to Reply MMABESTPICKS September 20, 2012 Jones “fights” have looked more like sparring practices (specially against Rampage, Jones even admitted so!) than real fights! We still don’t fully know what this kid got! Log in to Reply FRINGEclass September 20, 2012 @Spektor are you freaking kidding me? Are you insinuating Randy is some kind of hack? GTFO of the mma community! Log in to Reply DrDoom September 21, 2012 @Spektor Yeah, Couture beat Belfort eight years ago, I’m sure Vitor hasn’t changed at all since then… @rockstarzee Vitor has been submitted once in SIXTEEN year of professional fighting. Harldy a reason to think JJ is going to be able to submit him. Log in to Reply Wilbur September 21, 2012 217 inch reach. Wow. That’s ****ing impressive. Log in to Reply greengiant September 21, 2012 @Spektor randy is one of the best ever pal.just because you can’t see that does not mean its un true.its all about game plans and randy had the right game plan to beat vitor plain and simple.randy said vitor was the strongest fighter he ever fought even over brock lesner. Log in to Reply MMAGiantSilva September 21, 2012 MMABestpicks if you are trying to convince yourself or anyone else that Vitor has anything more than the proverbial punchers chance, you are only kidding yourself. Dude’s chances are about as slim as me beating a Pro fighter TBH. Log in to Reply baller September 21, 2012 wow sugas team is huge now. vitor is great but lil jj is just to must 4 any lhw talkless of a hw Log in to Reply moon September 21, 2012 Why is Vitor training with them? None of them fight like jon jones or even have the body type.
