Alexandre Ribeiro is the current the World Jiu-Jitsu Champion in the Adult Absolute (Open Weight) division. He has also owned the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship in the Adult Pesado (Heavyweight) division (2008, 2007, 2006 and 2004 ).

Ha, love seeing one of the best BJJ in the world get a TKO on strikes! Suguira didn’t see that coming.
Yeah ok….he opened up a can against a can. This opponent sucked and so does Xande. He faces a mediocre striker and it will be Yuki Kondo all over again.
I dunno Zonder… I think his opponent sucked but it’s hard to discount a 4 time jiu-jitsu world champion who just finished his opponent in strikes. Give him a couple of years and I see him competing against some top contenders.
dude zonder b4 u bad mouth xande again watch his grappling matches hes ridiculously good plus as you just saw his muay thai is good now too. I gurantee you he will dominate in the future.
It’s Xande’s first fight against a guy who is more experienced. Xande will CUT through that division and beat everyone in his path. Whether with submissions or even strikes as we’ve seen here. Yuki Kondo won’t stand a chance against Xande. Saulo would’ve beat his ass also-he just got caught with a cheap shot…
A real bad match. Between a BJJ World Champ in his debut, not so good to be onest, against a real active pro-wrestler. Sugiura is 36 yo and i think the he not have much time for training in the MMA.
