Wow!!! Now that was impressive. I’ve never seen Belcher look that good. His BJJ has gone through the roof to stay down there like that with Palhares. Belcher has definitely upped his game. Awesome fight!

Until Palhares rounds out his skills hes stuck. He’ll destroy lower ranked guys but top guys are too much for him.

Belcher’s victory is not unexpected from my point of view. Belcher comes to fight, and yes I know all fighters come to fight, but Belcher is willing to take the fight where it goes.

Belcher clearly didn’t try to step out of or complete a full escape stand-up position kicking Palhares in his ass and thighs.

I don’t create gifs, but one needs to be posted here @ Bruno’s. And make it complete with the sound I heard … solid connection …

It was definitely a twister attempt, and he tried a banana split but palhares was too flexible. Belcher played with fire, he may think he’s the man on the ground, but palhares is far better than him, he just gassed and hasn’t quite translated it to MMA
