of course he is going to say he knows how to beat Anderson. All fighters want to be champion or they wouldn’t be in this sport. Belcher on the other hand, is not good enough to beat Anderson Silva. 10+ fighters in the UFC said that they had his number and look where they ended up!

eventually someone will beat silva, because he’ll be old enough where he can’t keep up, unless he retires. but it’s not belcher, and definitely not now.

Here’s an idea: throw a really stupid awkward spinning back fist, loose your balance, fall to your ass, sit against the fence and wait for Silva to kick and punch you into oblivion when you know your best chance is to take his skinny ass to the mat and pound him out. Silva is magic on his feet. TAKE HIM DOWN! I believe Silva will loose soon. Who will it be? Any number of MWs have what it takes.

Anderson silva is like how fedor use to be. Fedor’s best attribute was being able to take advantage of ANY mistake his opponent did instantly. One mistake and it was game over for most people.

Unfortunately he lost the will to fight and just came in swinging for the fences. Anderson silva still has that ability. Hes like a sniper for mistakes.

I think chael did identify a weakenss in his game, but the second time around silva was doing alot better on his back. Chael barely was able to touch him.

I don’t know if this means anderson is better then before or he just hated chael so much he wanted it again.

It probably would be best for him to just retire and enjoy his life now. Hes what 37? Quit while hes ontop and still healthy. Even ali had and expiry date and look what happened to him when he kept trying to fight(not his disease, his many losses after the fact)

I think he would be one of the most well rounded guys anderson has faced. I still would favor anderson in this fight but you can never count out belcher. I think there are a couple guys now at 185 who could be a legit threat to anderson. Lombard, Wiedman, and Belcher. And also Vitor has a good chance with anyone if he goes for the kill right off the bat and lets his hands fly. I was definitely perplexed when he fought Anderson how he did not rush him but instead let anderson gauge his distance and get his timing down. especially after seeing how successful chael was by not letting him get his timing down. Vitors most successful fights is when he pressures guys early and quickly closes the distance early and use his solid boxing coupled with his insane hand speed to put ppl out
