Which champion in the UFC fights 4-5 times a year? What a stupid statement, as a fan of mma I hope Affliction becomes a huge success though chances are slim. The UFC is great but healthy competition is what’s needed not monopolies.

Josh Barnett is an excellent fighter. Highly underrated. Can he beat Fedor? I’d say most unlikely, but he could always get lucky! It’s going to take quite an intelligent game plan to beat Fedor, and Josh is pretty sloppy, which you can’t afford to be against Fedor.

Barnett is a great fighter; but is going to have a terrible problem when he faces Fedor. He has a tendency to look away or take his eyes of his opponent when being struck. Quite frankly he’s not tough like Nogueira to withstand Fedor’s fast accurate striking.

You know whats funny is that Fedor himself has said that he has nothing to prove to Dana White or the UFC so there’s not really a rush from his point of view to transfer over. I mean, the man has done what most people can only dream about and he already has the respect of every known mma fighter. So honestly he doesn’t need the UFC to go down as one of the all time greats.
