This is the new headlining fight for the next Affliction event – Day of Reckoning. After Fedor broke his hand I guess we now have a fight-off for the privilege to meet Fedor in the 3rd Affliction event.

Damn. I had just learned of the Fedor/Arlovski fight, yesterday. I really wanted to see just how well Arlovski stacked up against the top of the heap. This should also be a great place to prove himself.

Man, I really wanted to see the pitbull duke it out with fedor. I knew arlovsky was going to be the one to dethrone fedor.I guess the mma higher beings didn’t want this to happen and instead caused fedor to “break” his hand. I still got the pitbull on this one, although, I really wanted to see Big tim go at it with barnett. Now, perhaps we’ll see ben, rizzo, or the headhunter get a piece of big tim. Although, it would be sweet for big tim to get his revenge on fedors sibling. Pehaps down the road we’ll get to see tim vs arlovsky 4. War Big Tim, and the PITBULL. GRRRRR!!!

I don’t care if its same fighters, as long as we get constant good matchups. UFC recycles too man, it’s just spread out that’s why you don’t notice. And at least here there are always a bunch of top 10 guys trying to knock eachother off. The UFC reuses GSP and Silva alot. GSP vs Hughes 3 times, vs. Serra twice. Silva vs Franklin twice, Okami is going to get another shot again at Silva. So all companies recycle fighters, but at least Affliction is constantly giving us competitors in the top 10 trying to get to #1 status. UFC has like 1-2 good fights and the rest are undercards where they pay their fighters like $2,000.

UFC has 1 or 2 good fighters? UFC has more good fighters than Affliction.. look at the rankings dude.. and if ya notice the reason ufc “recycles” is cuz when someone wants a chance after they lose the belt.. they get a rematch…

I can see why this is the main event.

It looks like all you Arlovski fan boy’s are going to have to wait for another title shot cuz Barnett is gonna face Fedor in the PPV after this one.

The main event is obviously a #1 contender match up.

And how is your opinion of “weak” a fact? Your opinion of whats weak and not is not a fact, it is your personal opinion only. Nothing you type is even believable after proving how much a of a moron you are… And go look online, MMAJunkie, Yahoo, MMAWeekly, etc. shows the paydays of UFC FN 14. Most undercard fighters usually don’t even break the 10k mark. At UFC FN 14 it was the worst I’ve seen lately for UFC fighters, 3k-4k each.

If anyone can take out Fedor, its Barnett. He is probably the most underrated fighter around IMHO, the dude is an absolute beast. The baby faced assassin is tough as nails, I don’t see him getting knocked out by Arlovski. Can’t wait to see Barnett v. Fedor, gonna be amazing….

I can’t see Barnett beating Fedor. Barnett has lost like 3 times to Nogueira, and the way Fedor has schooled Nogueira shows me that he’s on a different level than Barnett. Orlovsky beating Barnett could be a nice intro before moving on to challenge the best.
