Minas is a good metnal game working for him… Very noticeable even when he stepped onto the scales…. Hunted the neck quite nicely.. Very good use of punches to the body to get tashchyan to roll into the choke…

I was happy to see no head blows. This is not cool. They have kids Pancrase here in the U.S. and I just won’t left my son compete. He is part of a gym here in SoCal that boasts 6 World Champion kids in BJJ. With Pancrase they are allowed no head blows.

Watching a kid do a guillotine at that age is scary. It is illegal in competition BJJ under the age of 14.

All that being said… the little 6 year old has amazing skills.

To all the bitches posting stuff about it being too dangerous. Anybody who knows the s*** about martial arts knows that it is very very unlikely for anybody under 120 pounds to knock somebody else out. If one of them put his head on the canvas and let the other kid punch him in the head for 15 minutes…there might not even be a knockout then… They just dont have the physical power to knock each other out.

8- year old kids have been thai boxing for hundreds of years and the damage is minimal.

second, while kids their age are being taught that martial arts – or any other sports for that matter – is all about having fun, just doing your best, bring your whole family, it’s okay to lose as long as you keep in mind that #1 is to have fun fun fun *yaaaaay* clap clap clap! Kids in all other countries are taking it seriously – as fighting should be!
So, I’d like to see a kid their age (or even older) from the US go up against one of these two and not end up in tears in mid fight hahaha
And why do some americans -usually the cheap beer guzzling ones who are completely mma-illiterate and boo when the fight goes to the ground- think that every fighter has to fight and win in the US in order to be considered a legit fighter? Since when does the US set the standards for fighter status?

Its fine, these guys aren’t going to do any major damage, and it seems like they know when to tap. Its not them you should be worried about, it is the other kids at school that are going to get beat up by these little beasts that will get hurt.

Would you rather them be fat and lazy? These kids will probably grow up and have a great life. Learning disciplin early and not to be afraid. Great times. Wish my parents made me do this when i was this old. Would be a totally different person now.

As long as they show the sportsmanship aspect of the competition. This could be a little bit extreme and may need to have more amateur guidelines so as to protect young minds. Still beats them learning the Armenian trade of selling used cars in USA!

Surprised its legal, was more entertaining than GSPs last few fights though. That kid attacked the neck like Cody, the other threw some nice body shots while he was in the choke.

The only thing more depressing than 7 year olds fighting in an Armenian bar is their moms working the strip-club upstairs owned by the same guy holding their passports for “safekeeping.” He’s of course offered them “good money, American dollars, Euros, great opportunity, very exclusive, yes my friend, bak shish bak shish” Exploitation homeys.
