Moscow hosted the World Cup Chessboxing Championships on November 28, 2013.


Chessboxing rules clear to all : the three-minute rounds alternate athletes ‘ rapid chess “with three-minute boxing match. Event lasts 11 rounds and includes 6 rounds of chess and 5 – Boxing between which gives pause for 1 minute. Victory can be achieved by KO , TKO, obscenities , surrender of enemy chess or delay time. If the chess game ends in a draw , then decide everything points scored in the boxing rounds . If this box and a draw , the winner is who played the black pieces .
World champion in the heavyweight category is Russian Nikolay Sazhin from Krasnoyarsk. In Moscow, he defended his title in a fight with a very strong Italian Gianluca Sirchi heavyweight .
