HEY BRUNO! 4-5 years ago i asked you to tell your followers a little more about yourself, past, life, fav fighters, passions, social views, political views etc. and you answered “I am Batman”. Would be cool to see you comment on your own vids from time to time.

Bruno: Not good at talking about myself.

I’ve hear Cormier talk about Jordan Burroughs. About how good he is, and how he wants to come into MMA, but wrestling needs him for some big championship coming up.

I know almost nothing about wrestling, but I can tell a guy is a f***** phenom when I see a video like this. Unless of course, the Russian isn’t competing out of his skill level.

What was that rolling move? It looked pretty significant, but I’m not familiar with it.

Was that a technical fall based on points? At that level, that’s unheard of. And it happened so fast. Russian dude was completely out of his league.

The rolling move was just a leg lock (wrestling leg lock obviously). In free style wrestling, if the shoulders break a 90 degree plane, you get a point. So for each roll the USA guy was scoring. It’s been a while since I’ve wrestled, so I can’t remember how many points are allotted for what. But this was a technical fall.

That move was called a leg-lace.

Dave-O Says, in 5-20-2013 at 21:37:06 from

A tech fall in freestyle wrestling is +10 points. The rolling move is called a leg lace. If the guy rolls across his back, its 2 points for each turn. If he is able to roll from hand to hand with no other parts touching the mat, its only 1 point. I think he managed one 1 point turn, but the rest of those were 2s. Jordan Burroughs is a beast.

saba is a Russian Grand Prix champ but not on Jordans level. The “roll” is a leg lace. 6 points wins the round and 2 rounds wins the match but they continue to score thru the action.

Isn’t it also a form of a Gator Roll except with the legs instead of the head and arms?
